We are only 20 minutes drive from Belfast city centre offering an interesting, diverse and comprehensive range of options. We also have a full range of family oriented attractions and activities on our doorstep.

The Comber area offers much to see and do including; arts and crafts, cycling, horse riding, sailing, fishing, walking and golfing, including the historic course of Royal County Down.

Ideas for family days out can be found at the Castle Espie Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre, Exploris at Portaferry and around Strangford Lough, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

Permanent exhibitions of both local and international interest can be seen at the Somme Heritage Centre and the Titanic Belfast exhibition centre.

Locally the National Trust have a number of stately homes and properties offering walks and areas of outstanding natural beauty. These include Mount Stewart, Castle Ward, Rowallane Gardens. Further afield the trust manage the iconic Crown bar in Belfast, the Mourne Mountains and the Giant’s Causeway.
